This hotel offers beautiful rooms overlooking the ocean, although it may not be on par with other Kempinski hotels. The exceptional service is what truly stands out. The location provides a nice view of the sea, but it's isolated from the center. Dining offers superb croissants and bread but with expensive and terrible coffee at breakfast.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms are so clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea, and I loved the long window seat perfect for watching the sunset. The service provided by the Kempinski Djibouti staff was excellent and very friendly, although I found it a bit off-putting that they asked for money frequently. The location is just perfect, right by the sea with relaxing sea breezes, but it's a bit isolated from the city center. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a huge variety of choices but overpriced and with mediocre coffee. Overall, a great hotel with a few minor drawbacks.

My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms faced the sea and had a lovely long window seat where I could sit and watch the sunset. They were definitely 5-star quality and a welcome change after some very basic accommodations I experienced in Ethiopia. The hotel is clean and comfortable, exceeding my expectations for the room I had booked.
